Kerem Girenes (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the Overbooked mobile game. This policy explains what information Overbooked processes, why it is used, and the choices available to players.

Information we process

How we use information

We use information to create and secure sessions, synchronize progress, operate local and online game features, connect friends, manage ranked play, deliver purchases, prevent abuse and duplicate transactions, provide support, and maintain service reliability.

Overbooked does not sell personal information and does not use player data for cross-app tracking or targeted advertising.

Service providers

Overbooked relies on providers that process information only as needed to provide their services. These currently include Google for optional Google Sign-In, Apple for app distribution and in-app purchases and, when enabled, Sign in with Apple, Render for application hosting, Neon for database hosting, and Cloudflare for delivery of public game assets and pages. Each provider may process information under its own terms and privacy policy.

Storage and retention

Account and game information is retained while needed to provide the account and service. A signed-in player can permanently delete their account from the in-app Settings screen. Deletion removes the account identity, profile, wallet, inventory, friends, ranked progress, and active sessions. Historical room participation may be retained only in anonymized form as “Deleted Player” without the account identifier.

Information may be retained longer when reasonably necessary to comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or enforce agreements.

Player choices

Players may use a guest account, use an available third-party sign-in option, sign out, unlink an eligible sign-in provider, or delete their account in the app. Privacy questions or requests can be sent to support@keremgirenes.com.

Children

Overbooked is designed for a general audience. It does not require sign-in to play. During first-run onboarding, a player who says they are under 13 is placed in the guest flow and Apple and Google sign-in are skipped. When a player later taps one of those sign-in options in Settings, the app asks for the same confirmation before continuing. Guest players may use the game’s online features.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information through a signed-in account, contact us and we will review and respond to the request.

International processing

Our providers may process information in countries other than the player’s country. Where required, we use the protections provided by applicable law and our service-provider agreements.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the product or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the latest version became effective.
